I had an incredible dining experience at Ahoy Roy! It was my first visit, so we decided to order a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded my expectations. When it comes to fish and chips, I take it very seriously and after trying countless spots around Melbourne, I can confidently say this is hands down the best I’ve had. A local legend put me onto this place and I’m forever grateful. Perfectly located right next to Tram Stop 1 and the beautiful Albert Park Beach, this is no ordinary fish and chips — it’s honestly a little work of art. Crispy, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The boys in the open kitchen clearly know what they’re doing, and they’re super friendly too, which makes the experience even better. Every time I get a craving for proper fish and chips, this is the place I think of. Ahoy Roy Boys is now my go-to. Highly recommended!

Just had an amazing meal from Ahoy Roy Fish & Chips! Everything looked fantastic and tasted even better. They cook using premium cottonseed oil, so there was absolutely no greasiness at all The garden salad is a must-try. Highly recommended if you’re ever in the area!

I brought my English class to Ahoy the other day and I must say thanks again, I think it was with Austin who served us all, with a colleague. We had the burgers and drinks, fish n chips, on the beach and it was a wonderful occasion. I’m not sure when I can return but definitely recommend. The terrace tables look great though my class wanted to chill on the beach. Both options are great!

Came to Port Melbourne and found this place by chance, the Food was just plain amazing, we got a burger, chips, calamari rings, scallops, chicken spring rolls and onions rings and everything was fresh and delicious, the Fries were extremely fresh and crunchy, i loved the scallops so much, they were grilled and just buttery and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, would 10/10 recommend for anyone coming down towards Port Melbourne, they have beef, chicken and veg options as well if you’re not a sea food person. The staff was extremely so pleasant, friendly and helpful and the service was fast even the the place was pretty full of people

Just had an amazing experience at Ahoy Roy Fish & Chips, perfectly located near the Melbourne CBD and right by the Albert Park beach The boys here seriously know what they’re doing. The flake was insanely crispy on the outside, juicy and flavourful on the inside—that perfect crunch you dream about And don’t even get me started on the chips… crunchy till the VERY last bite (which is basically impossible to find anywhere else in Melbourne!). Top it all off with super friendly staff, great vibes, and unbeatable quality—this place is a no-brainer. If you love proper fish & chips, do yourself a favour and come here. Shouting a big 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — best fish & chips in Melbourne, no contest!
